One love to everyone I saw at the Q Tip/ Cool Kids Show at High Line Ballroom last night. Great show y’all! Sucks that Phily got cancelled…boooo.

This Friday night my man my mellow DJ Mike Nyce stands in for me and Tip at Santos with a possible special secret guest. Open at Santos Party House Friday night as usual. I’ll be in Europe this weekend returning on Monday, but Tip and Ricky return to rock together once again on Friday December 12^th! We are Open! Each and every Friday night at Santos, 100 Lafayette St, 11pm to 4am! Voted “Best New Party in NYC” at The NYC Nightlife Awards held by Paper Magazine.

Saturday December 6^th in BROOKLYN, me and my man DJ Herbert Holler are curating a new night together called SALT & PEPPER at HABANA OUTPOST. The rotation of DJs will be DJ Akalepse( APT/Truth & Soul Records), DJ Kamron (The Marksmen/Headspinnaz), DJ Statik ( Illvibe Collective/Bahamadia), Herbert ( Freedom), and myself. I wont be able to make it there until some time in late January, but I’m proud to be a part of putting together an event where some of my talented friends can get a chance to shine! This Saturday’s line up is DJ Kamron and DJ Herbert. There will be two rooms, one with Kam doing his thang on the Hip Hop/Breaks/soul/classics and reggae, and Herbert in the other room rocking the house and classics dance set! JUST 5 BEANS ENTRY ALL NIGHT! CHECK IT OUT AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT IT!
