First of all, Deep is a 14 years strong institution. Second of all, The Bellasco Theater is fucking huge. Third of all, I was on the bill with Marques Wyatt, Doc Martin, Louie Vega, Dj Big Ceezy, Josh Milan, and Jeremy Sole. Unbelievable night of music in LA, and an honor to be invited to Deep’s 14th Aniversary jam. One love to the Deep LA staff from top to bottom. Amazing.

Honored to be invited to teach at San Francisco State alongside my big brother Mr. Davey D. Cook. Google him. He knows more about hip hop, history and poitics than most of the functioning historians alive. This guy is a walking encyclopedia, for real. I was also blessed to have Ben Ortiz and Katherine Reagan along with me to introduce the class to The Cornell Hip Hop Collection, and further spread the gospel of www.preservinghiphop.org. Stay tuned for more!
